Victor asked for a way to get a fair price. I think the point being the price is accurate, not that the price is precise. I think few people need the kind of precision I needed back in 2013-2014 when I was doing arbitrage. On the other hand, most data sources (e.g. coinmarketcap) calculate rates against USD, which is, in turn, converted into a user's local currency. This doesn't count the Kimchi premium in, nor the black market price in China.
I can do nothing about the black market price in China but there are good data sources that gets you the actual price: https://bravenewcoin.com/ethereum
For example, if you choose AUD it will generate a price from coinjar, cointree, indepdendent reseve, ACX.io etc the Aussie exchanges.
